People across Jefferson County are tired of partisan games and want legislators who will get to work and do their jobs. For years, I have proven that I put the interests of Colorado first, put politics aside, and let our shared values move good policy forward.
Since 2006, I’ve had the incredible responsibility and privilege to serve as a voice for my neighbors in the State House of Representatives. I’m proud of my record in the House, where I sponsored legislation building good jobs for working families, improving our schools, protecting the environment, and making government smarter and more efficient.
I’ve reached across the aisle to help small business, to build regional tourism, and to track the economic impact of our laws. I've made job retraining more affordable, and I created workplace rules that respect the realities of nursing mothers, dads with kids in school, and all employees who simply expect a paycheck that doesn't bounce.
We have more to do. Let's keep fighting for Jefferson County. Working together, we can bring a real economic recovery while building a more sensible, more transparent, more effective state government.
